My name is Samantha. I am a small chinchilla rescue located in central Tucson, AZ. I decided to become active in chinchilla rescue just recently when I took in some unwanted chinchillas. I thought it would be a great contribution toward the love for these little animals.
I am first and foremost a rescue. I do have a pair of breeding chinchillas that I picked up from the Fraizier Park show.
I have only been to one chinchilla show; it was a field day and a fantastic experience. The animals that were shown were just stunning. I took in a ton of knowledge on how a chinchilla is judged and groomed and would like to someday be more than a spectator.
Chinchillas came into my life in 2001 with my very first chinchilla.
At the beginning of 2006 I picked up Angel and Jazz from some local pet stores.
I never stop talking with breeders and am always doing research to further my knowledge with their backgrounds.
My goal with breeding chinchillas is to breed to strengthen the chinchilla lines for better fur quality/density and temperament to make great loving pets as well as nice show quality animals.
I hold and play with all of my fuzzy children daily. They are fairly tame and enjoy love and attention.
