Are there any good chinchilla breeders in or near St. Augustine Florida?
I was going to get a little chinny my local pet store, but when I took a closer look at them was very sick! his eyes were cloudy and skin patches, which were living in a finch cage two feet! I did some research and discovered that it was better to go to a breeder but I do not know any or where they're near the street. Agustin de la Florida, Sal i am willing to drive from st. Augustine of cocoa beach. Plz plz help! Thx
Petfinder is not for breeders. Petfinder is a rescue site, along with lists of rescues throughout the U.S. and Canada. If http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com mark, few of its members in Florida. I do not know where they are exactly on to you, but if any of them should be able to refer to someone in your area. Crysta (username Essentia) runs a rescue in Florida and could point in the right direction, I'm sure. If you are over 14, you can place an ad in the "chins wanted section and get the answers you can choose. Since you're new to the chin, it would be a great place to learn about them too. It is a great forum, with a large number of members who have years and years of experience with pet chins, rescues, and chins in breeding. Practically any questions you have can be answered there. You need to be 14 to join, due to COPPA regulations, but you can read all the forums if you are a member or not. Good luck!
